Dear Devotees,

Invoking the blessings of our Agraharam Deities Vilwadrinatha Swami, Hanuman, Mahaganapathy, Uma Maheswara, Santi Durga Parameswari, Purnapushkalamba Sameta Harihara Putra Swamy and by divine grace and the Blessing of His Holiness Sri Sri Bharati Theertha Sankaracharya Swamikal of Sringeri Sri Sarada Peetham, and Sri Sri Jayendra Saraswati Sankaracharya Swamikal of Kanchi Kamkoti Peetham and support of villageers and friends, it has been decided to conduct. The Ashtha Bandhana Naveekarana Maha Kumbhabhishekam to our Grama Devatas of all the three Temples on 19th of May 2010 ( 1185 Edavam 5th ) in Poosam Star, Suklapaksha Shashti, Mithuna Lagnam between 9 am to 10 am

The Mahakumbhabhishekam will be performed under the guidance of Vaishnavagamasri Nellissery Srinivasa Bhattacharyar, Sivagamasri Chittur Ambi Gurukkal ( sarva Sadakam ), Brasmasri Mathur Rasamani Vadhyar and a team of Eminent schoolars of Agama Sastra and Vedas.

The Mathur Grama Maha Kumbhabhisheka Committee feels immensely happy and joyous to extend a very cordial and warma invitation to you to be present on the occasion with all members of your family to participate in the two weeks long celebrations which include Great Religious Rituals, Cultural and Entertainment Programs. Dear Devotees,

It is going to be 12 years now, from the last Dwaja Prathishta & Mahakumbhabhishekam conducted in Sree Vilwadrinatha Swamy Temple and Mahakumbhabhishekams in Sree Santhi Durga Parameswari & Siva Temples of Mathur Agraharam during 1998. It is our custom/tradition to conduct Mahakumbhabhishekam every 12 years. This is being performed for increasing the divinity of deities, welfare and prosperity of the Village, Bhaktajanam & members both far & near.

Now it is proposed for Mahakumbhabhishekam in all the three Temples during 2010. In a Gramajana Meeting held at Gramam, the following persons were elected as office bearers ( in addition to 17 executive committee members).

We approached Padoor Sri.Radhakrishna Panicker for the conduct of Ashtamangalaya Prasnam and he has given his consent for the same along with Vengassery Sri.Mohana Panicker on 16th and 17th March 2009. at Sri. Vilwadrinathar Temple.

It is because of your active support and participation, we are able to conduct the daily Poojas and all conncted functions in a befitting manner in all the above temples without any hindrance. Taking into consideration the present cost of materials repairs of three Temples, Kumbhabhisheka expenses Nithya Pooja Fund, consturction of Agrasala with rooms and other expenditures, the estimated expenditure will be about rupees 1 Crore. We Will be able to conduct the Kumbhabhishekam only with continued support and participation of the Bhaktajanam far and near. We also propose to bring out a souvenir on this occasion.

We will be able to provide the detailed repair activities only after the Deva Prasnam and the same shall be forwarded at the earliest.

Estimates for Repair and Kumbhabhishekam Expenses

Dear Devotees,
Hope you might have received our previous appeal, where in is indicated the proposed Kumbhabhishekam in all the three temples of Mathur Agraharam during 2010.
An Ashtamangalya prasanam was conducted on 16th and 17th March 2009 where in variuos divine verdicts were made (1) Decrease in divinity of presiding deites in all the three temples. (2) Poojas most be performed with more devotion and dedication (3) More prayers and bhajanas must be offered in temples. (4) Divine presence of Lord Subramaniya is found in existing ‘Nagar’ Sannidhi and Prathistha of Lord Subramaniya in a seperate shrine with new idol is recomended. Shifting of existing ‘Nagar’ sannidhi has to be made to southern side as per vastusastra. (5) Various dosha pariharams has to be performed before conducting Maha Kumbhabhishekam.
By doing above, divinity of presiding deites will be increased and all devotees will be blessed.
As per the divine verdict gramajanam has decided to perform Maha Kumbhabhishekam in all the three temples in 2010. It is also proposed to perform necessary renovations in the three temples and construction of a Mandapa with room facilities for stay of non-resident ‘Mathurians’.
Estimates for various renovation works, and constructions of Mandapa, Dosha pariharam, Maha Kumbhabhisheka expenses, Reserve for pooja fund are enclosed for your kind perusal. In the estimate we have furnished details of all the matters / subjects that can be sponsored by the devotees. We fervently seek your help, guidences, co-operation and generous donations in cash, kind and physique. May the presiding deities of our Agraharam Shower their blessings on you and your family.
